The Agriculture Department has responded!

After receiving much criticism for its school lunch rules - the secretary for the department said the department will do away with meat and grain limits for school lunches.

Which means more delicious mystery meat for all school students!

In the new children's book Vegan Is Love, author Ruby Roth starts her vegan-friendly book with adorable illustrations of animals hugging and being just all-around cuties.

But then things get a bit scary…

The book then includes drawings of dead animals and bloody carcasses. It also says that animals raised for meat have "violent and sad" deaths.

Ruh-roh.

We get the purpose behind the book - trying to teach children how to eat a healthy diet and to have compassion for animals - everything we completely support, but we're not sure if children are ready to see graphic images of how the sausage gets made.

Ruby promises that her "goal is not to scary any child" though.

Just stop it. Stop it right now, government.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is purchasing 7 million pounds of ammonia-treated "meat," that's been dubbed as Pink Slime, to use for the nation's school lunch program.

Disgusting. Have they seen the stuff? Because it looks like THAT THING ABOVE.

Earlier, Jamie Oliver showed kids how the extra bits from a cow or chicken were treated with chemicals, then were mixed together to create this sort of pink-reddish sludge. It was then served in fast food.

The funny thing is that recently, McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Burger King have stopped using the processed meat. But, for some reason, the government thinks it's okay to put this shiz in kid's lunches.

Microbiologist Carl Custer, who worked at the Food Safety Inspection Service for 35 years, said:

"We originally called it soylent pink. We looked at the product and we objected to it because it used connective tissues instead of muscle. It was simply not nutritionally equivalent [to ground beef]. My main objection was that it was not meat."

How is this even legal?? This is basically like feeding our children poison. MUST.STOP.THIS.NOW!!
