Justin Bieber is currently in South Africa, playing two stadium shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Aside from doing whatever it is he does to prepare for a big show (reread lyrics/stretch his pelvis for panty melting dance moves) he's getting in some relaxation time.

By relaxation we mean he's exploring Africa's wild side!

He instagrammed a pic of a wild elephant (above) and wrote:

Paul McCartney certainly is a veteran performer.

It'd take more than a few bugs to get him to mess up a live show.

Actually, we feel like it'd take nothing short of a plague of locusts to throw him off his game.

That's kinda what happened to him at a show in Brazil.

While up on stage, for almost three hours, he was surrounded by grasshoppers, several of which landed on him while he was performing.

One in particular sat on his shoulder while he played.

Paul ended up naming the little guy Harold. Ha!

What a professional, to be able to keep playing and even make light of the situation.

Ever seen Animal Planet's hit series Pit Boss??

It's a docudrama that follows Shorty Rossi, owner of Shorty's Rescue.

They're an organization devoted to pit bull rescue.

Well, Sebastian Saraceno and Ronald Clark from the show have collaborated with indie rock band Post Trauma to release a song!

It's called Risen and not only is it pretty rockin', a portion of the proceeds from its release will go to SoCal dog charities and rescues!!

So they got to put a little more music out there into the world and they get to help doggies!!

Sounds perfect to us.

UC Santa Cruz scientists have done the seemingly impossible.

They have taught one of their resident sea lions how to keep the beat to the music.

This is a breakthrough in research because before it was thought that only humans and parrots could keep a beat!

But that is no longer the case, obviously!

Soon we'll be rocking to the new group - the Beastie Sea Lions! Ha!

English rocker and former Oasis band member Noel Gallagher has called out Justin Bieber!

Noel, and tons of other Brits, were upset when the Biebz showed up two hours late to a London concert!

Then he passed out at another show last night as we previously mentioned!

This is so heart-warming.

After Lily the bunny lost her back legs in an accident, her life was saved by an animal hospital.

Normally, she would have been put down but instead, she was given a second shot at life!!

She had a little bunny wheelchair built for her!

Now she gets around with her front paws, and she sure seems like she's used to it!

Well you're on tour, why wouldn't you want to take your furry kiddies!

Miranda Lambert shares six adopted pups with hubby Blake Shelton and when she's on the road, a few of her pets come along for the ride!

Her two small ones, Delta and Cher, usually ride with Mama Miranda, but Betty is a different story!

Miranda explains:

Betty is one of our dogs that we take on tour with us as well, but she's kind of a daddy's girl, so she hangs out with Blake a lot.

I have a huge passion for rescuing animals. I have a Chihuahua that I got at a shelter at 4 weeks old and I have to remind her of her roots. I tell her that she did not grow up in Bel Air. She came from a shelter in east Texas.

I have to keep her humble.

No Beverly Hills Chihuahua for this pooch! LOLz!
