Six months ago, the members of British indie band Viola Beach were tragically killed when their car plummeted 80 feet off a bridge.

But it looks like the rock group's legacy will live on, because their debut album is set to reach number one on the UK Charts.

Before their untimely deaths, singer Kris Leonard, guitarist River Reeves, bassist Tomas Lowe, and drummer Jack Dakin recorded a number of tracks — which have now been released by family and friends of the four musicians.

According to The Official Charts Company, the band's self-titled album is currently 6,000 sales ahead of the current number one, Electric Light Orchestra's All Over the World: the Very Best Of.

The album Viola Beach is made up of nine songs, including the band's lead single Boys That Sing.

Music magazine NME praised the collection as a record that "will leave a smile on your face," saying in the review:

Robert Pattinson Addresses Racism Against FKA Twigs — Says Commenters Are 'Demons Who Live In Basements'

Robert calls out the racists.

Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs have had plenty of problems with being in the public eye.

The singer has openly mentioned she is not a fan of fame, and she and her fiancé have faced their fair share of relationship rumors — having to shut down stories that their upcoming nuptials are no longer happening.

But far and away the worst of all the constant scrutiny comes from those who still harbor racist resentment towards the Twilight star's lovely lady, and he's had enough.

Robert was talking to NME magazine about the hateful messages twigs has received in the past, and it's clear it makes him furious. He said:

"I was talking to my dad about this and I bet him that if he looked up Nelson Mandela's funeral on YouTube, the first comment would be a racist one. And it was, with like a million upvotes. What I don't get is why. I think it's because most normal people are not commenters – I've never met anyone who's left a comment on anything. It's just demons who live in basements. You have this weird thing where you end up trying to fight against this faceless blob, where the more you hate it, the bigger it gets, because it's all in your head."

While he tries to stay off the internet himself — and avoid all the haters and trolls — the 29-year-old says sometimes the curiosity gets the best of him:

Rihanna Won't Be The Next One Joining 'Role Model' Taylor Swift On Stage! See What She Says About That And R8 HERE!

Rihanna talks R8 and more in the latest issue of NME!

Still no album, but Rihanna sure knows how to make the wait worth it!

The BBHMM songstress is helping to abide the time by appearing on the latest weekly issue of the UK's NME magazine!

Unlike past covers, her fierce, attitude-laced cover is pretty simple, which is all the better for her eye-opening interview.

Speaking on whether she'd ever join Taylor Swift on stage during her 1989 Tour, Ri confessed:

"I don't think I would. I just don't think it makes sense. I don't think our brands are the same: I don't think they match, I don't think our audiences are the same. In my mind she's a role model, I'm not."

We think Rihanna might be surprised to know how much crossover there is between her fans and Taylor's. But oh well, there go all our hopes and dreams of seeing her on stage with the Bad Blood songstress!

Anyway, the 27-year-old is probably too hard at work on R8 to even think about it. She dished:

GaGaloo Reveals New Deets On Born This Way Album & Judas Music Video!

We. Want. It. NOW!!!!

Lady GaGa sat down with NME Magazine for a bit of a chat about her upcoming album, Born This Way. With two singles already on the loose, the whole world is anticipating what other musical gems will be hidden on the disc for us all to enjoy. During the interview, GaGa played a few cuts of some songs that she was particularly proud of.

She gave a sneak listen to Government Hooker, which reportedly "reeks of Berlin sex clubs," Bloody Mary, which Gaga explains is sung from the perspective of Mary Magdalene and describes as "a spooky rave ballad" and finally, Americano a "really politicized song about immigration."

She went on to add that this coming album will play a bigger part in her life than perhaps the first two, considering the impact she is trying to make with it. She explained:

"I thought I was the cultural sh*tstorm. I walk into a room, people write about me. It wasn't until I release Born This Way [the single] that I realized how completely vacuous everything had been. I realized now what a small impact I've really had, and how massive the impact is that I'm about to have."

Understatement. This record is going to blow everyone away!!!

As for Judas, which she refers to as "Bad Romance Version 7," she reveals that the song is very important to her, but that the video will be more so. She reveals it will involve motorbikes, death and, in the final seconds, a strong spoken word sequence about being "beyond repentance." She explained:

"This is my way of saying 'I've already crossed the line. I won't even try to repent.' Nor should I."

Hell yes! Nor will you ever or should you ever!

Badass!!! Keep it all coming!!!
