Ozzy Osbourne Wants Jack To Get A Second Opinion

Ozzy Second Opinion

Usually that's par for the course — if you have a major diagnosis, you get a second opinion just in case.

But Ozzy Osbourne has a much closer-to-home reason for wanting Jack to seek another opinion on his MS diagnosis — Ozzy himself was misdiagnosed with MS just a few years ago.

Here's what the legendary rocker had to say:

"I want Jack to go for a second opinion as I was misdiagnosed with MS a few years ago - it took them six months to work out that I have a rare hereditary tremor, called Parkin Syndrome."

Jack also says he has an uncle that has MS, which is probably why his mom Sharon is feeling like it's her fault:

"Mum took it really quite hard; my uncle on her side has MS and, the way my mum is, she thinks that somehow it's her fault. Both my parents were handling it way worse than I was; they were pretty shaken up about the whole thing."

A second opinion couldn't hurt, Jack!

While we're sure your docs are capable, mistakes do happen — just ask your dad.

Super Bowl Ads Might Be Moving To Movie Theaters Too!

Filed under: TV NewsFilm FlickersBusiness Blitz

Super Bowl Theater

Seems like kind of a waste to just have your super expensive Super Bowl ad just on TV, right?

Right! Well it looks like those Super Bowl ads might make their way to the silver screen after the big sports night.

Screenvision is reportedly trying to get those ads onto their 15,000 screens — especially because of a survey they took the last time:

"The survey results indicated that among those groups who recalled seeing the ads both on TV and in theaters, "brand affinity" (favorable opinion) was 41 percent higher and "brand awareness" 27 percent higher than among those just seeing the ads on TV."

That's pretty significant, and if you ask us, totally worth it too.

Maybe we should look into a FitPerez commercial to put into theaters??

Ha!

Did South Park Go Too Far With The Penn State Scandal Last Night?

South Park Penn State

South Park is not one to bend to anyone's will, and no topic is off limits.

In fact the animation (which is incredible for the time frame) and stories are done a week before the show airs to stay extremely topical. And last night they went after Penn State.

The question is — was it hilarious or too far?

That definitely comes down to personal opinion, and those hurt in the scandal are no laughing matter. The thing is, though, that this is satire. South Park has some of the sharpest writing and satire in the game. For example: the character, a social worker, who was making the jokes (they were actual jokes with punch lines spouted in rapid fire through the whole episode), made a final Penn State joke commenting on how he let foster kids go to a home that he didn't make sure was safe by saying, "What am I… a recruitment coach for Penn State?" But when Cartman laughed at it, the frustrated social worker yelled, "IT'S NOT FUNNY!"

For those who don't know that everything in South Park can just be assumed to be commentary without having to really think about it, that's the key moment in that episode.

Yes, maybe the volume of jokes and the extremity of them became borderline, but they were making a point.

Besides, a show that's been picked up into it's 20th season has to be doing something right.

Do U think they went too far??

The Beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer Weighs In On Plastic Surgery

Michelle Pfeiffer

Even at 53-years-old, Michelle Pfeiffer still looks nearly as good as she did in her Catwoman days! Her immaculate appearance, however, begs the question whether or not she has had any plastic surgery.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, she plays coy when tackling the subject, saying:

Rosario Dawson Received Compliments For Looking 'Emaciated'

Rosario Dawson

Such a shame!

Rosario Dawson opened up in the August issue of Shape about the unfortunate pressure actresses face from the entertainment industry.

After losing weight for her role in Rent, in which she played a drug addict dying of HIV/AIDS, Rosario was disturbed to hear compliments about her "emaciated" figure, sharing:

“I remember everyone asking 'what did you do to get so thin? You looked great!' I looked emaciated.”

The beautiful star is also on board with the American Medical Association's opinion that photo alteration of models' bodies “can contribute to unrealistic expectations of appropriate body image – especially among impressionable children and adolescents."

Despite most likely being airbrushed on the cover of the very magazine she was being interviewed for, she doesn't seem to approve, saying:

“I’m constantly telling girls all the time everything is airbrushed, everything is retouched to the point it’s not even asked. None of us look like that."

We're glad she's not afraid to admit it either! She continued to speak candidly about the media's unrealistic portrayal of body image, saying:

"It's a form of violence in the way that we look at women and the way we expect them to look and be for what sake? Not for health, survival, not for enjoyment of life, but just so you could look pretty."

So true! We maintain that the only person you should be trying to please by living a healthy lifestyle is YOU!

David Tyree Comes OUT…

Against gay marriage!

Did you think we were going to say something else? Ha!

Seriously though, this is HUGELY disappointing, especially in light of all the athletes and professional sports teams showing HUGE support for marriage equality.

Former New York Giants wide-receiver David Tyree has recently shown his support for anti-equality organization National Organization for Marriage in an interview (above) by expressing his opinion that gay marriage will lead to anarchy, saying:

"If they pass this gay-marriage bill…this will be the beginning of our country sliding toward, it’s a strong word but, anarchy. … A marriage is honorable in the sight of God between a man and a woman meant so that you can continue to procreate…."

Anarchy? Hmm…not so sure about that one, but every one has a right to express their opinion, no matter how misinformed it is.

Just how misinformed is his statement? Well, we're pretty sure Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont aren't going up in flames as a result of this "anarchy" that has allowed same-sex marriage.

Also, he states that "marriage is the only relationship that actually mirrors a relationship with God." We're guessing he doesn't know that Catholic priests are not allowed to get married and they seem to have a pretty good relationship with the big guy.

Throughout the interview, the football player continues to ramble on using religion as the basis for his reasoning that gay marriage should not be legal, which is probably the worst argument anyone make against gay marriage or any kind of public policy for that matter.

We certainly respect any person's religious belief and respect one of the core principles our country was founded on that allows us to worship freely. However, we CAN NOT respect religious belief as any kind of basis for legislation in this great nation, especially when that legislation takes away the FREEDOMS of others!

This man, like many others, needs to wake up and realize that not everyone has dedicated their lives to God like he has and his argument lacks all kinds of logic.

Check out the interview above to hear what the man has to say, but consider this: If we start using religion to decide the rights of others, we will be taking a giant leap BACKWARDS because we will be no better than the country we FLED from centuries ago because of religious persecution!
