In a interview with ustralian chat show 60 Minutes this weekend, Brad admitted he's planning on retiring from being an actor when he turns 50. Apparently, he seems to think his days are numbered as a viable actor and will take the extra time to be with his family and step behind the lens for awhile.

Courtney Stodden's Mom Says Her Son-In-Law Isn't Creepy!

courtney-stoddens-mom-says-her-son-in-law-isnt-creepy

Oh, lovely! Another Dina Lohan mom of the century in the making!

The world collectively shivered, and then gagged, when it was reported that 51-year-old Doug Hutchison married 16-going-on-meth-faced Courtney Stodden, which of course, is most creepy given the fact that her parents consented to what is essentially statutory rape!

But luckily, her mother Krista has opened up about the whole debacle, and wants the world to approve of the modern-day Romeo and Juliet, because she does!

Brad Pitt Talks Parenting, Admits Mistakes

Filed under: Brad Pitt > Angelina Jolie

brad pitt talks parenting

As we said last week, we think you and Angie are probs pretty good parents, Brad!

During a recent interview, Brad Pitt opened up about parenting, and admitted that he makes some mistakes:

"Not [like I'm] a horrible parent, but I've certainly made mistakes and had to make up for it."

Here's Brad on how he raises his kids, in comparison to the abusive father he plays in The Tree of Life:

"I certainly don't raise my kids that same way. I'm painfully aware that my actions leave a double mark on them in these formidable years, so I make sure I don't bring my crap at home."

More from Brad on how he wants to raise his kids:

"I want to keep them free to explore that innocence as long as possible and find out what's really interesting to them. I just don't want to encumber them in any way."

And Brad on whether or not he and Angie want their kids to be actors:

"Listen, I just want them to follow their bliss. Whatever makes them happy."

We all make mistakes, Brad, but we've gotta say overall it seems like you're doing a pret-ty solid job.

Keep up the good work!

From what you've heard, do U think Brad Pitt is a good parent?

Mel Begins Community Service!

Filed under: Legal Matters > Mel Gibson

Let's hope he can put some positivity back into the world after all of the grief he's caused!

Mel Gibson got one lucky break when he pled no contest to simple battery - linked to his abuse of baby mama Oksana Grigorieva last year - and was sentenced to 16 hours of community service, which he is choosing to do at his ex-wife Robyn Gibson's charity, Mending Kids International, but it appears that some of the parents associated with the organization are more than supportive of his presence there!

One parent, James Nicol, has revealed that Mel was essential in aiding their Ethiopian-born son Berhanu get an expensive series of medical procedures to help fix severe spinal issues over the past few years, and is thrilled with any future assistance the actor can provide the charity!

He concludes:

"If Mel was coming over to our house to play ball with my son, I would not be the least bit concerned."

Wow. Here's hoping that we continue to hear such positive stories like this about the actor as he begins his community service.

He's getting off much more easy than he probably should, so we'd love to see him truly take advantage of this and make a sincere, conscious effort to better himself.

Michael Lohan Is ALREADY Blabbing About Lindsanity's Failed Drug Tests!

lolhanwenn2719568__opt-1jb__opt.jpg

Took him long enough!

Within hours of the news breaking that Lindsay Lohan has failed multiple drug tests, her absentee father, Michael Lohan is already blabbing to the media.

And, in his own delusional way, he claims Lindsay keeps acting out because he is not in her life!

In a long-winded rant, Michael says:

“Her manager and her friends failed, they failed beyond belief [and] I will do all that I have to call them out. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I wish she would just listen to me and just let me into your life. I’m telling you if you had me in your life this never would happen.

If she had her father in her life she wouldn’t have this inner turmoil. She wants to numb the pain.

You want people around you that are going to say no. When there’s people around you that just want to have fun, are those the people you want in your life? I’ve said it . Everything that is hidden comes to light…Even with Dina you can’t lie and get away with it. You can’t hide from it. We all care about Lindsay.

The only thing I’ve seen is the Vanity Fair article before Lindsay went to jail and they got her in a very vulnerable state and tried to drag things out of her… She’s at a point when she wants her mom and her dad there.

She needs her mother, her father, her sisters, her brother. She needs harmony. If she doesn’t have that pain she won’t have any need for drinking and drugs in her life.

When Lindsay was at the height of her career, her mother and I were together…and you never saw us in the press because she had her parents..

You don’t want to have your mom and dad in a a boxing ring…They want to have their mom and dad in harmony saying we’re here for you.

Surprisingly, though, Michael says he doesn't think Lindsay should go to jail, despite her probation judge saying she'd face 30 days in prison if she failed a drug test.

Says her father, “I don’t think my daughter should go to jail. I think in a fair system they should put her in rehab and put her into a long-term rehab system. She needs inpatient rehab and her mother and father [to] finally sit down to resolve their differences and put a stop to this nonsense…she needs to get therapy and has to get her mom and dad in the right place and we have to be there for her.”

It's gonna take a lot more than Michael Lohan and Orange Oprah for Lindsay to get better!

Sandra Still Wants To Be A Mom To Jesse's Kids

sandrabullockwenn2660045.jpg

That big heart has room for all - except you, Jesse James.

In her tell-all interview with People Magazine, Sandra Bullock confesses she still intends to play a role in the lives of Jesse's three kids. She is hoping an arrangement can be made where she can "co-parent" them. She explains:

"I don't want to know what life is like without those kids. Whatever we need to do, in the healthiest way, we are going to be co-parenting."

We hate the thought of Jesse staying in your life in any capacity, but for the sake of those little ones (who are in DESPERATE need of a role model), we think it's okay.
