Activists Say Animals Are Freezing In Nativity Scene

Poor animals.
Animal activists in Poland are accusing a company of keeping animals in the cold for a live action nativity scene.
Renata Cieslik of the Animal Protection Guard in Slupsk, Poland said the llamas, donkeys, sheep and Shetland ponies in the scene are overly exposed to damp and cold, which is dangerous for their health.
The owner of the company who arranged the animals for the nativity scene,Miroslaw Wawrowski, says he has a permission from the city's veterinarian and keeps the animals in wooden crates at night.
Last time we checked a wooden crate wasn't all that warm, especially considering an arctic chill has killed more than two dozen people in the European country earlier in the month.
While most the world is hoping for a white Christmas, these animals just want to stay warm.
