Burlesque Leading The Upcoming Razzie Noms

It may be award season, but the Razzies are not one you want to be up for! The ballots have been sent out and voting has commenced in selecting the worst movies of 2010.

Burlesque is leading the pack with Razzie nods including worst actress (Christina Aguilera), worst supporting actress (Kristen Bell and Cher), worst supporting actor (Cam Gigandet), worst screenplay and worst director.

At least it wasn't an option for worst picture. That honor goes to The Bounty Hunter, Clash of the Titans, The Expendables, Grown Ups, Jonah Hex, Killers, The Last Airbender, Little Fockers, Sex and the City 2, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Vampires Suck and Yogi Bear.

Yikes! The official Razzie Award nominations will be announced January 24th.

Sandra Set To Return Her Razzie!

The original Razzie is going home!

Sandra Bullock, who was cool enough to personally accept the Golden Raspberry - for her performance in the shiteous All About Steve - in person after winning an Academy Award, was embroiled in the middle of some mild dramz over the weekend when reports circulated that she had walked away with the original, prototype statuette and not the $5 knockoff that winners are intended to officially receive!

Razzie founder John Wilson has already claimed that he had reached out to Bullock with no intention for the issue to be made public, and now the actress's publicist, Cheryl Maisel, has released a statement:

"We were never contacted by them to return the Razzie. I contacted them yesterday to check the validity of the story and was only told then that we had been given the wrong award. We will be returning the Razzie to them shortly."

We hope this was just a legitimate miscommunication and that the Razzie founders weren't trying to take advantage of all the press the actress is receiving right now! She was trying to be a big person by even showing up to the event in the first place!

Thoughts??

Sandra Being Razzied By The Razzies!

They don't want to, but she has their stuff!

Sandra Bullock walked away with her first Razzie Award last March, but now, the Razzie people want it back.

No, no. They aren't taking pity on her and residing their award of Worst Actress. Actually, it seems Sandra walked off with the only real Razzie Award!

The one she has handed on stage is the original prototype used in the ceremonies since the 1980s. As the committee isn't that well funded, they offer their winners a $5 replica. But Sandra has the real deal and they'll be wanting that back.

Whoops!

Nothing seems to be going right for you these days, bb!

Good Idea! Razzies To Be Televised!

sandraap10030605219__opt.jpg

Once again, Sandra Bullock's sweet, golden touch brings joy to others!

Due to all the buzz the show got this year, the longtime, vastly popular award show, The Razzies, has decided to televise its 31st annual show next year.

There is no word if there are any network or cable takers, but give it some time. Whoever does pick it up will certainly hit an untapped rating's gold mine!

We're thinking Bravo, VH1, maybe ABC, if their execs developed a sense of humor!

Sandy Will Proudly Display Her Oscar - And Her Razzie!

America's Sweetheart gets a tad more lovable.

While some Oscar winners would be appalled to also have a Razzie Award on their record, Sandra Bullock has nothing but love for both of her honors.

In one weekend, the actress brought home the humbling accolade of Worst Actress for her work in All About Steve and the highest praise from the Academy Awards as she walked about the the award for Best Actress for her work in The Blind Side. After the ceremonies were over, she announced she had plans to put both statues on display in her home for the world to see. She said:

"They're going to sit side by side, as they should. You know we're in the entertainment business. That's what we're supposed to do. You take the good with the not so good…I had the best time at the Razzies… It is what it is and, you know, it probably means more that both of them (awards) happened at the same time because it's the great equalizer. Nothing ever lets me get too full of myself. It quickly chops me off at the knees, and I like it that way because it keeps things stable…They'll sit side by side in a nice little shelf somewhere; the Razzie maybe on a different shelf, lower."

Well, no one will blame you for that!

Congrats on everything, Sandy! Well deserved, on both accounts!

Sandra Bullock Is A Good Sport!

sandraap10030605219.jpg

Sandra Bullock seems to be everyone's pick to win tonight at the Academy Awards, but before she gets a hold of an Oscar for her role in The Blind Side, she had to acknowledge her role in the worst flick of the year!

Last night, America's sweetheart picked up two Razzie awards for her movie All About Steve. She even attended the event to show what a good sport she is and she didn't come empty handed. Pulling a wagon filled with All About Steve DVDs to give the crowd, she accepted her award and said:

"I thought no one went to see this film, but I know that there are more than 700 members here. I brought the shooting script. I'm willing to go through page by page, read the line the way I did it in the film and, if anyone wants to give me a line read of how I could've done it better … We can do this till about 4 o'clock in the morning. Or you guys can just watch the movie and rethink your decision, and I'll show up next year and we can go out for a drink afterward."

LOLZ!

Gracious to the end! What class!
