Wendy's Might Expand Value Menu!

Wendy's is likely to expand its value menu next year!

That means whenever you have a craving for some fast food and actually allow yourself to give in that ONE TIME a year, you can eat cheap!

In an attempt to compete with McDonalds' cheapness, they're going to add a whole bunch of 99 cent items.

This is actually the opposite of what most people expected.

We just previously mentioned that the NHLPA declined the NHL's 50-50 revenue split offer and the NHL turned down all their counter-offers.

So the NHL has canceled 135 games through November 1st.

That's 11% of the season!

NHL Offers Deal For November 2nd Season Start!

Finally! Some friggin progress!

As we previously mentioned, the NHL and the NHLPA (player's association) have been butting heads over who gets what cut of the revenue.

As of last season, players were getting a 57% cut of the revenue brought in by the NHL.

The NHL wanted to cut that down to 43%!

So of course they had trouble reaching middle ground.

Finally though, it's looking like the lockout might be ending soon.

NBA Players Officially Locked Out

NBA lockout

It's happening!

Negotiations have failed and NBA owners informed their players they would be locked out beginning Thursday at midnight.

Hopefully the league and the player's union can come to some kind of an agreement over revenue sharing before the lockout eats into the next NBA season.

The last lockout in 1998 shortened the season to 50 games and caused the sport's popularity to significantly decrease!

It's a shame that an organization that has so much money to go around can't figure out what to do with it.
