This has certainly been a long time coming, but we're relieved to see that it's finally been resolved!

We were horrified to report back in August of 2010 that Samantha Ronson's pet bulldog, Cadillac, escaped from her West Hollywood apartment, only to maul and murder her neighbor's maltese Tiger!

After the incident, Cadillac was permanently banned from the area of El Lay, and Tiger's owner, Farnouche Kamran, sued the DJ, their apartment complex, and the landlord for $750,000…but now, it appears that both parties have managed to settle the incident outside of court!

Dog whisperer Cesar Milan couldn't get the whole marriage whispering thing down and he has settled his divorce from ex-wife Ilusion.

PETA has been campaigning for a while against the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus because they have undercover videos of them being cruel to animals, specifically their elephants.

Now they have finally won a battle in the war for animal welfare.

Feld Entertainment, the parent company of the Ringling circus, has to pay a $270,000 settlement for alleged violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

Other than the death of a lion, and a baby elephant, other elephants are beaten with sharp, steel tipped billhooks.

Now that they've finally been penalized, they must train all their employees who handle animals and hire a staff member dedicated to AWA compliance.

This is a great victory of PETA and elephants, but the war is far from over, there are still sick or hurt elephants forced to perform in the circus.

Good thing someone is willing to fight for the animals.

Wildlife advocates say they will file a settlement agreement with the U.S. government Friday in federal court that would take wolves off the endangered species list in Montana and Idaho.

The agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service would keep the species listed as endangered in Oregon, Washington, Utah and Wyoming.

Political pressure forced environmentalists into the settlement to avoid intervention from Congress that could have broadly undermined the Endangered Species Act.

But a split among the plaintiffs in the case has left three groups opposed to the deal. Tom Woodbury with the Western Watersheds Project says his group thinks wolves still need federal protection.

The settlement will need approval from the U.S. District Judge.

Now that is one expensive pooch!

We WISH we could say it was all for pampering, but instead Christina Milian settled a lawsuit from her neighbor who claimed in 2008 that her dog got loose and took "a huge chunk" out of his arm.

A chunk!?!? Sounds painful.

According to court documents filed last week, the pop star and actress agreed to a $55,000 settlement.

Christina must really love that dog!
