We had no idea Betty White was such a nature enthusiast!
Apparently when she was very young, her parents would always take her on trips to the mountains and she just loved being out in nature.
She is very thankful for The Wilderness Society and everything they do to protect nature and get Americans off their couches and out into the wild.
Check out the above video to hear Betty's first hand account of how the wilderness is her "soul place."
A man in China had to go to the hospital to have an eel removed from his bladder.
He was at a spa, receiving a treatment where he laid in a bath of eels.
The eels were supposed to eat the dead skin off his body, rejuvenating him.
Instead, one of the more adventurous eels swam right up his urethra!
Describing the incident, the man said:
“I climbed into the bath and I could feel the eels nibbling my body. But then suddenly I felt a severe pain and realised a small eel had gone into the end of my penis.
I tried to hold it and take it out, but the eel was too slippery to be held and it disappeared up my penis.”
He rushed himself to the hospital where doctors were able to remove the now dead eel in a three-hour operation.
The surgeon said:
“The diameter of the urethra in a man's penis is just a little narrower, but because eels are quite slippery, its body worked as a lubricant and so it got into the penis smoothly.”
Okay. We feel sick. That’s the last time we bathe with eels. LOLz!

This is the most adorable thing to happen in a lab!
British scientists are sparing no expense to treat a very special patient with epilepsy: A 154-pound turtle named Snorkel.
The loggerhead turtle has had many health problems, including epilepsy for the past 11 years.
She has been at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth and, according to the Sun, worried keepers recently went to the unusual expense of getting her an MRI scan on a machine usually used for obese people to see if she has a brain tumor. LOLZ!
The horse's trainer Graham Motion says now that Animal Kingdom is a champion, he'll start daily saltwater spa treatments to help aid muscle recovery after the race.
The 25-minute process includes submerging the horse up to its knees in cold saltwater and Graham insists it feels wonderful… for the horse anyway.
But that's not all - Graham says AK's bed is getting a makeover too! He says the entire stable will be packed with "a lot more straw for a very cushy bed" to maximize comfort before AK's next big race.

Are you seeing things, or is that a woman?
It is a woman, nose to snout, skin to skin, nude, with hundreds of 500-pound pigs grown in an industrial farming barn.
Artist Miru Kim is doing by placing herself in the midst of the pigs, in her series, The Pig That Therefore I Am.
Kim says the message behind her work is not specific,
"The images are meant to be poetic and open-ended for many interpretations. I would like for my images to evoke a visceral reaction from the viewers about the spaces (and creatures) that are usually forgotten from their daily lives. I went into these massive industrial hog farms and really felt with my entire body and skin how these environments were. The naked figure (I) in the photos gives an emotional focal point that directly relates to the viewer’s body. I am throwing a question for people to think about, rather than giving an answer or a definitive message. Where does your breakfast sausage come from? Have you interacted with a pig? What happened to our connection with animals in the last two hundred years?"
