Companies Competing For Jeremy Lin Endorsement Deal

Jeremy Lin

As Linsanity continues to grow, so does the interest from thousands of companies looking for a global spokesperson.

Since becoming a starting point guard for the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin has become the most popular Asian-American athlete on the planet and his agent has more offers than he can count from companies looking to sign Lin to a lucrative endorsement deal.

Despite all the offers, the NBA star is playing it cool, as a source explained:

“Jeremy doesn’t want to jump into anything. He wants to sit back and wait and see what suits him. He’s not looking for the quick money. The deals have to be right.”

Instead of jumping on a deal worth millions, he's focusing on getting the right team together that is capable of guiding his career throughout all of this Linsanity, as another source commented:

"There’s been so much interest, and so many people reaching out, it is overwhelming. They’re working to build a team to handle all this, and hiring marketing and p.r. executives. He has met with IMG.”

Although there are endless opportunities for the young player, he's looking to represent brands that fit his clean image, but don't expect to see him on billboards too soon.

“These kinds of deals can take a year,” said one source. “They take forever to negotiate.”

What brand would U like to see Jeremy Lin rep?

Tiger Woods Swings And Misses The Cut For PGA Championship

Tiger Woods swing

It seems like everyone has moved on following the Tiger Wood's infidelity scandal, EXCEPT for Tiger Woods!

His ex-wife is dating a new man, a slew of sponsorships have dropped him for more marketable athletes, and his ex-caddie (that he fired) has found another championship golfer to work for, all while Tiger's career continues to spiral downward.

Most recently, Tiger has missed the cut for the 2011 PGA Championship!

On Friday, the once dominate golfer packed up his clubs and headed home after shooting a 10-over 150 at Atlanta Athletic Club.

We're not rooting against Tiger in any fashion, but he doesn't seem to be getting out of this career slump any time soon. Better luck next time, Tiger!

Tiger Woods Loses Tag Heuer Sponsorship

Tiger Woods tag Heuer

Tiger Woods picked up a new sponsorship from a Japanese heat rub not too long ago, which made it appear as if companies were beginning to look past his infidelity scandal. However, looks can be deceiving.

The golfer has been DROPPED by Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer, which may have been his most valuable sponsorship worth an estimated $10 million.

After being dropped by other companies including AT&T, Accenture, Gillette, and Gatorade, Woods is now at about a $25 million sponsorship loss.

He's still in pret-ty good shape though considering he is estimated to be worth about half a billion dollars!
