Gwyneth Paltrow is such a great lady!

She executive produced the whole Stand Up To Cancer initiative where basically every celebrity ever joined together for a charitable cause.

While laucnhign the U.K. version of Stand Up To Cancer she gave a beautiful speech that almost brought everyone to tears… including herself!

Well now we have proof that some of the biggest TV stars, including Hayden Panettiere, Lucy Liu, Joshua Jackson, and Mindy Kaling, are all in the fight together!

Many Britney Spears fans were bummed when they heard that she had bailed out of an appearance on Teletón México 2011, a telethon that raises money for children with special needs.

Enrique Iglesias was supposed to take over, but, lo and behold, our favorite pop princess appeared on many TV screens across the nation, opening up the fundraising event Friday night.

Good work, Brit Brit!

Guess that's pretty much the end of Jerry's association with the MDA telethon!

Last month, we learned that Jerry Lewis was NOT returning to host this year's Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon, which aired on Sept 4.

We were wondering how the telethon would fare without him, and sure enough it did VERY well!

The MDA telethon brought in its best numbers since 2008, raising $61.5 million, which is $2.6 million more than last year. Impressive!

American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe co-hosted the event with Jann Carl instead of Jerry, and the two said that Lewis had "retired" during their broadcast.

More than anything, we're just glad to see that people are still donating SO MUCH $$$ to this important cause! Truly inspiring!

Thanks for all the years supporting the cause, Jerry! Much appreciated!

Despite reports that said Jerry Lewis was back as host of his legendary Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon, airing September 4, it turns out, he won't be back.

Jerry's spokeswoman Candi Cazau said:

He's back!

Jerry Lewis WILL host this year's Labor Day weekend Muscular Dystrophy telethon for no reason other than that he and "the Muscular Dystrophy Association have made peace."

Phew! Thank goodness. We didn't know what a telethon would be without Ol' Jerry Lewis!
