The major German fest included scheduled performances from such diverse acts as Macklemore, System Of A Down, Liam Gallagher, and Machine Gun Kelly.

Friday night's headliners, German metal giants Rammstein, were warming up but had not yet taken the stage when police and organizers announced the festival was suspended for the rest of the day.

Festival goers were seen leaving in a calm, collected manner, even having a sing-along:

UPDATE 7:12 P.M. EST: Unfortunately, police are now reporting a fifth person has died as a result of their wounds.

Authorities have also now officially released the name of the hero policeman who died protecting Parliament: Keith Palmer, a husband and father who'd been an officer for 15 years.

PM May thanked the "exceptional men and women" of the police force; she added:

"The location of this attack was no accident. The terrorist chose to strike at the heart of our capital city where people of all nationalities, religions and cultures come together to celebrate the values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech."

The number of injured has also risen; police now say over 40 in all.

One year to the day after the deadly suicide bombings in Brussels, another act of terrorism has taken innocent lives.

Four are confirmed dead after a man drove a large vehicle into pedestrian traffic on Westminster Bridge in London. Two were killed by the vehicle; at least 20 others were injured, including three young students who were visiting from France.

After crashing into the railing, the driver, armed with a knife, abandoned the vehicle and tried to get into Westminster Abbey — where the U.K. Parliament convenes.

A police officer blocked his way and was stabbed; he later died of his wounds.

The assailant was reportedly then shot by police before he could make it into the building. Lawmakers inside Westminster were put on lockdown for over two hours as a precautionary measure.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley of the National Counter-Intelligence Service addressed reporters with a full rundown of the tragic events:

We're still just so thankful no one was killed.

It's been a terrifying past few days in New York City and surrounding areas after an intentional explosion injured 29 people in Chelsea with additional bombs discovered throughout New Jersey.

Luckily, authorities believe they arrested the man responsible for the terrorist attacks — 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami — on Monday morning after a shootout with police in Linden, N.J.

Did Rudy Giuliani Just Forget 9/11 Happened?! Former NYC Mayor Says There Was No 'Successful Radical Islamic Terrorist Attack' During George W. Bush's Presidency…

Welcome to a recap of what's probably the biggest blunder of the millennium.

On Monday, Rudy Giuliani was speaking before Donald Trump took the stage to discuss foreign policy in Youngstown, Ohio.

But while the the New York politician was addressing the crowd, he attempted to bash President Obama's eight years in office — as well as Hillary Clinton's role as Secretary of State — by incorrectly claiming there had been "no successful radical Islamic terrorist attack" in the US during George W. Bush's two terms as president, saying:

"Under those eight years before Obama came along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States. They all started when [Hillary] Clinton and Obama got into office."

The obvious error about that statement is that 9/11 happened on September 11, 2001, and our current Commander-In-Chief was sworn in on January 20, 2009.

We were shocked the 72-year-old seemed to forget about this tragic and incredibly significant piece of American history for a couple of reasons.

First, Rudy was the mayor of New York City DURING the horrific 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. Second, the Republican had brought up both 9/11 and the 1993 assault on the WTC mere MOMENTS before this controversial comment.
