This sounds like something that humans could use to their advantage. Ha!

The world is stumped by this creepy looking pig/mini horse creature (above) found in Xinxiang, China.

It's actually a large pink Chinese crested dog, but many residents believed they stumbled across some super secret government-experimented pig monster!

This is so sad!

Yoda, the mixed Chinese crested and chihuahua dog who held the title "World's Ugliest Dog" has died!

She died in her sleep at the ripe old age of 15.

Yoda lived a tough life on the streets until being found by her owner behind an apartment building.

She was originally mistaken for a rat.

Seriously.

Cut to last summer when she became famous, won $1,000 and got a huge trophy for being the "World's Ugliest Dog."

You're still cute to us.

Sort of.

Congrats!!!

Yoda, a 14-year-old Chinese Crested Chihuahua from Hanford, Ca, has won the dubious accolade of being crowned the World's Ugliest Dog Friday night amongst stiff competition.

With her one eye, sparse tufty hair and protruding tongue Yoda managed to wow the judges at the annual Sonoma-Marin Fair, beating out last year's winner, a one-eyed Chihuahua called Princess Abby, a hairless little Chihuahua called Handsome Hector with a tongue to match Yoda's inch for inch, a one-eyed pug and several other unfortunate looking, but clearly loved, little pooches.

But, Yoda's story very nearly didn't have the happy ending that it has as owner Terry Schumacher revealed she found her abandoned and scared out in an alley.

Terry says at first glance she thought Yoda was a rat. LOL!

Poor thing!

Unlike ABC's Ugly Betty this Betty actually is mildly interesting ugly and has actual problems.

A mystery skin condition has left the six-week-old creature too scared and nervous to mix with other normal hogs at the Foxy Lodge.

Unfortunately, Betty can't be released back out into the wild because without her spines she is defenceless against predators.

Hedgehogs also use their spines to provide warmth during winter so Betty needs special attention during the cold months.

Keeper Tonia Garner said:

"She’s healthy, but it’s sad. She lives alone in an enclosure indoors. We hope the spines will come back so she has a normal life."

As if permanent nudity and no friends weren't bad enough, Ms. Garner also revealed Betty has another problem - dry skin.

Our only advice for Betty is to embrace her natural beauty.
