Not Enough People Getting Lifesaving Cancer Screenings!

Not Enough People Getting Lifesaving Cancer Screenings!

Cancer screenings

A new report from the CDC has revealed that only 1 in 3 people are taking advantage LIFESAVING colorectal cancer screenings when they should be.

That’s is a shame because of half of new detected cancer cases, as well as PREVENTED deaths, are a result of increased screenings for the disease over the years.

Although the total number of people being screened in the United States jumped up from 52% in 2002 to 65% in 2010, more lives could still be saved! Between 2003 and 2007, 66,000 few people developed the disease and 32,000 fewer people died from it.

Let’s keep the number rising, people!

A colorectal cancer screening is recommended for men and women at 50-years-old and up, so make an appointment if you haven’t done so already!
