84th Annual Academy Awards Post Better Ratings Than Last Year

Did U watch the 84th Annual Academy Awards last night?
If so, you’d be one of many who tuned in to watch Hugo and The Artist slay all the competition by walking away with the most Oscar trophies.
The ratings are in and with the help of Billy Crystal, the show managed to increase it’s viewership with a 25.5 Household rating/38 share, compared to last year’s 24.5/37.
Every year the interest in the pinnacle award show seems to shift depending on all sorts of variables, but we think people tuned in because they were curious to see how good Billy’s 9th stint as host would fare in comparison to James Franco and Anne Hathaway‘s disappointing performance.
