Wait, 24 with no Jack Bauer?! That’s what it sounds like Fox is trying to make happen!
At the Television Critics Association‘s winter press tour on Saturday, chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman talked about their plans to bring back the network’s megahit 24, but without their star Kiefer Sutherland! Newman said:
“We would love nothing more than to do another 24. That’s a constant focus for us├óΓé¼┬ª We have discussed it with [Kiefer]. Potentially, he won’t be in this installment, we’re not sure yet. We’re not that far along but I know he supports us doing more 24. We’re not talking about continuing the show without him; we’re talking about whether there’s one installment that he’s not in.”

If they decide to pick the show back up, it won’t be made until 2016, so don’t get too excited yet.
And definitely don’t get your hopes up about Jack Bauer saving the world again, because the actor has said he wants to retire the character completely.
