But the icing on the cake had to be when John Travolta mistook drag queen Taylor Swift for the real deal when presenting the award for “Video of the Year”!

While John and Queen Latifah both took the stage to present the award, the Grease actor let the actress/rapper announce the name of the winner so he wouldn’t “f**k it up”!

Unfortunately, Travolta still effed up when accidentally presenting the award to Jade Jolie AKA drag queen Taylor from the You Need to Calm Down video!

It was a honest mistake!

Swift eventually received her Moonman, but wow, did John still leave his mark on the VMAs or what??

Gigi Hadid was very clearly living her best life as her bestie Taylor opened up the VMAs last night!

As the songstress performed Lover, the supermodel was a total mood vibing out with her flute of champagne.

Joe Jonas was all of us while watching Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello‘s steamy performance of Señorita on Monday night!

At the end of their song, the collaborator’s lips were just centimeters apart, leading many to think they were about to kiss.

Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus took home the award for “Song of the Year” with the Old Town Road remix, and the newcomer made sure the moment was made even more memorable with his speech!
