Say what you will about 50 Cent, but he sure doesn’t hold back on social media!
The Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper loves the drama that comes with Instagram and Twitter, as we’ve seen time and again in the recent past, and Monday night was just another example of all that… at the expense of Trey Songz, and others!

It all started late last night, when Fif posted about the shooting of MLB star David Ortiz.
If you haven’t been paying attention to that one: Ortiz, a former star of the Boston Red Sox and one of the most beloved baseball players alive today, was shot in the Dominican Republic earlier this week. The bullet hit him in the back; Ortiz first underwent surgery in the Dominican, and was later transferred to a medical center in Boston, where he is expected to fully recover.
The shooting was initially reported as a robbery, but that story quickly changed. As more information about the shooting comes to light, reports claim that Ortiz was allegedly having an affair with the wife of a Dominican drug lord. (Which, BTW, yikes.) And while all those allegations and accusations are still being hashed out — who knows what happened — 50 Cent saw his opportunity to needle Trey, Dave East, and Nelly with the news.

There’s a history to all this, though — and it’s more light-hearted than you might think (at least for Fif and Trey it is — we can’t speak for Ortiz, who’s being used as the butt of a joke there!)
Over the last couple days, 50 and his R&B counterpart have been locked in an ever-increasing hilarious and light-hearted “beef” that’s played out over Instagram. It all started over the weekend, when 50 Cent saw Trey Songz “hanging with fifty bitches” down at a restaurant next to the hotel both performers were staying in for the weekend.
Fifty immediately took to Insta and lightheartedly called out Songz over his womanizing ways — and teased him about whether he was going to be able to pay the bill, as you can see in the clip (below):
Ha!!! But no good deed goes unpunished, or something, because not even a couple hours after Fifty posted that video to his own IG account, Trey secretly tracked down the rapper, showed up at his hotel room door, and scared the hell out of him!
50 Cent’s reaction to it all is priceless — watch (below):
Ha!!! Gotta give that one to Trey …. he really had the rapper going!!!
The In Da Club artist continued to roast the R&B crooner after that, choosing not to stop their funny social media beef until he got the last laugh (below):

But, predictably, Songz just kept on trolling 50 Cent right back — in real life, too, which kept giving us these priceless, hilarious reactions from the rapper (below):
