Twitter Is Canceling 50 Cent For Making Fun Of Terry Crews' Sexual Assault Claims

no title
Sexual assault is never a laughing matter, yet 50 Cent thought it was appropriate to mock Terry Crews for testifying about his experience with sexual assault on Capitol Hill Tuesday.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, the rapper shared a meme that showed the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star flexing over a picture of him with a rose. The top pic said, “I got raped… My wife just watched,” and the bottom said, “Gym time.”

The post garnered nearly 125,000 likes — not to mention a crying-laugh emoji from accused rapist Russell Simmons — but most were appalled by 50’s insensitivity.
Many took to social media to say how disgusted and alarmed they were by the rapper’s reaction, with some noting that victims (particularly men and boys) don’t come forward with sexual assault stories for this very reason: the fear of being laughed at.
But Crews didn’t flinch at the mean spirited comments. The actor told TMZ he was unbothered by the bullying, adding:

“I prove that size doesn’t matter when it comes to sexual assault.”

Others on Twitter were much more outraged, and declared that the Candy Shop rapper (and Simmons, who pledged to be part of the solution after facing multiple assault accusations) was hereby “canceled”:

As we reported, Crews was on Capitol Hill Tuesday to testify for the Senate Judiciary Committee about the time WME talent agent Adam Venit allegedly groped his genitals.
We hope 50 realizes he can be part of the solution without having to sacrifice his precious masculinity.
