
Welllllll… this certainly backfired.
Author E.L. James and her team decided to hold a Q&A on Twitter using the hashtag #AskELJames and as the internet is oft to do, people took the event in a direction different than the 50 Shades of Grey creator was intending.
You see, while promoting her fourth book Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian, the 52-year-old author wanted her fans to ask her questions about things like her writing process… but instead she was plagued with hilarious tweets questioning her talent.

But it wasn’t just fans who got in on the fun — celebs like Caitlin Stasey, Trevor Donovan, and Mara Wilson laid into E.L. as well!
