Brittany Cartwright Had A SAVAGE Response To Jax Taylor Claiming They Were Never Legally Married -- LOOK!

Brittany Cartwright is clapping back after Jax Taylor claimed they were never legally married!

As we covered, reports broke this week that the bar owner filed paperwork a few days ago giving his ex-wife full legal and physical custody of their child, Cruz. He also said he wanted to deal with splitting up their only asset, a home in LA, later. But the strangest part? Per Us Weekly, he checked two boxes — one to say they were married and another claiming they were NEVER legally married. Like WTF??

Welp, Brittany wasted no time before hitting back at her baby daddy. On Wednesday, The Valley star slid into the comment section of an Instagram post about the legal matter, dissing:

“We are legally married. I’m guessing paperwork is hard for some people.”

LMFAO!!!

Lance Bass, who officiated the 2019 wedding, agreed with her, adding:

“I can confirm this. Pastor Lance signed the papers.”

For what it’s worth, the Vanderpump Rules alum’s own rep kinda shaded him in a statement about the document mistake, telling Page Six on Thursday:

“While Jax made errors in filling out forms that are usually done by trained legal professionals, those errors will be amended without delay.”

Everyone’s putting him on blast for not using a lawyer! LOLz!

The rep also confirmed that custody arrangements for the young boy have been privately settled for a while now, noting:

“Jax and Brittany have already long resolved all matters related to custody of Cruz, and will continue to work together privately for the best interest of their son, which remains their overriding concern.”

That’s good!

Earlier this week, Brittany told E! News that they’re “co-parenting” and that everything was “going to be fine no matter what” because they both just want to put Cruz’s needs first. She insisted:

“It’s going to be fine no matter what, because we both love him so much. […] So, even if Jax and I are fighting, it’s not going to ever come between Cruz.”

Great to hear! They’ve had a tumultuous romance and split, so co-parenting won’t be easy… but Jax’s willingness to give her full custody says a lot! But judging by her sassy response to this crazy legal mishap, there’s clearly still a bit of tension between them!
