Sydney Sweeney doesn’t need a sugar daddy!
In Wednesday’s new Women of the Year edition of Glamour, the Euphoria star hit back at claims that her fiancé Jonathan Davino foots the bill for everything just ‘cause he’s way older. Insisting she can fend for herself, the 27-year-old actress shared:
“I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard. I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family.”
AKA she’s the boss!

While her soon-to-be hubby, 40, has been credited as a producer on her films Anyone But You and Immaculate, she noted that he doesn’t have any financial backing in her career, including in her production company Fifty-Fifty Films. Clearing the air once and for all, Sydney expressed:
“I would love to set the record straight. You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man. We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.”
The Madame Web star added that Jonathan is merely just a sounding board for her on projects and that she makes all her own decisions, especially financial ones. And thanks to her stardom, she can now afford to pay off her mom’s mortgage, fly her parents out to Italy to see her on set, and even buy her uncle his dream boat for the family lake — all without anyone’s help. She don’t need no man paying for her!
If anything, this has us wondering if she’s the sugar momma?? LOLz! We know he’s a businessman from Chicago, but damn, she seems to be rolling in the dough these days!
Despite some affair rumors with Glen Powell last year, Sydney and Jonathan — who have been together since 2018 and engaged since 2022 — are seemingly gearing up to finally walk down the aisle soon. Back in April, The White Lotus star was spotted in LA shopping in a nice bridal store for hours — perhaps picking out the perfect dress! Exciting! Fans might be skeptical about the relationship, especially given the large AF age gap, but clearly, it’s working for them! Guess that’s all that matters!
