As the creep formerly known as Prince Andrew — now just plain old Andrew Mountbatten Windsor — is getting pushed out of the royal family, his daughter is moving up!
On Thursday, it was announced that Princess Beatrice is getting a bit of a promotion! She’ll be the new Deputy Patron of Outward Bound — a UK-based charity helping kids of all backgrounds grow via exposure to nature and outdoor activities. The 37-year-old has been a Trustee since 2019, so this is a natural next step!

Her uncle, Prince Edward, will also serve as the Royal Patron of the org. Edward’s father, Prince Philip, was the primary patron of the charity for many years until his death. The Chief Executive of Outward Bound, Martin Davidson, celebrated the news, saying in a statement:
“With The Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Beatrice working alongside us, we’re embarking on a new chapter. One where every young person has the chance to test their limits, build confidence and discover that anything is possible. Their support reflects a shared belief that adventure changes lives.”
Despite Beatrice and Princess Eugenie‘s parents losing their titles, the girls have maintained theirs — as well as their place as working royals. Clearly, The Firm still values them! Perhaps even more now that Andrew’s gone…
