Sources say that Sony Pictures Entertainment offered the coveted role of the newly-adapted Spider-Man‘s Mary Jane Watson to the faboosh Emma Stone!
Emma will be taking over the role that was played by Kirsten Dunst in the first three films.
As for the other female role, Gwen Stacy, there are four actresses in contention: Glee‘s Dianna Agron, Mia Wasikowska, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott.
Emma is PERFECT for the role of Mary Jane! She’s talented, witty, vulnerable, and a beautiful redhead!
