They’re calling it a “parallel” sequel. We’re calling in genius marketing.
Paramount Pictures allowed a Japanese production company to produce and shoot an entirely separate and independent flick based off of their cult hit, Paranormal Activity. The movie totes itself as a sequel, but it is completely different than the sequel coming out in the U.S.!
Interesting! Two sequels to one movie! But which will be better?
