Thank goodness Megan Thee Stallion is no longer with Klay Thompson if this is really what he has been telling people about her behind her back! WTF!
As you know, the rapper dumped her basketball player boyfriend in April after she put him on blast for cheating on her! Fans’ hearts broke for their beloved hottie after thinking she finally found the one! Now, they are about to become infuriated over the new tea being spilled about the split!

According to DailyMail.com over the weekend, a source close to Klay claimed he checked out of the relationship long before it ended:
“He was over her and didn’t want to be with her. I think he wanted to break up with her for a while but just didn’t know what to do.”
It is called being a mature adult and having the tough conversation anyway! If he didn’t want to be with her for so long, he shouldn’t have wasted her time and then hurt her even more by allegedly cheating on her!
However, a second source shut down the accusation that the Dallas Mavericks star wanted to end the relationship! They claimed that “Klay never once tried to break up with her.” Instead, the second insider insisted that “the reality is Megan ended the relationship after she discovered that Klay had been cheating on her,” and that’s the only reason why they’re done now. The first source added that they learned Klay tried reaching out to past flings before he and the Savage artist split, but they couldn’t confirm whether he actually cheated or not.
Regardless, the first source feels there was no way the romance would’ve gone the distance! The former couple apparently were very different people, and Klay was not shy about complaining about that fact to others! The insider alleged the 36-year-old athlete would talk badly about Megan behind her back, whining about how “loud” she is and more:
“He was like, ‘She was just so ghetto. I was over the ghettoness. The way she speaks, the way she acts.'”
OMG! What a jerk if true!
If Klay really felt that way, again, why did he continue to date her as long as he did? It makes him now look bad and seem like he ultimately wasn’t with her for the right reasons…
We all know Megan is a textbook extrovert. Meanwhile, the first source described Klay as “awkward” at times, almost like an introvert, which is where they clashed in terms of their personalities. Despite that, DailyMail.com says the NBA star developed legit feelings for Megan and wanted to get serious with her, including marriage and kids! The first source said he purchased a bigger multimillion-dollar home with the plans to move in with her.
However, the source added that Klay often felt lonely in that residence because Megan was busy traveling for work:
“He kind of felt abandoned by her. He went to all of these places to support her, and then when he was off over summer, she was nowhere to be found. He felt like she never made an effort.”
He reportedly wasn’t used to being in a relationship with a big-name celebrity and is “more used to girls revolving their lives around him” (which isn’t healthy). But the second source fired back that Klay knew what he was getting into when he began dating Megan – and is also equally as busy as she is:
“It’s hypocritical for Klay to complain about her work ethic when they’re both public figures who travel frequently for their careers and each strive for excellence in their professions. He always knew she was never a stay at home partner.”
And when Megan was around, the first source claimed Klay hated how much she documented their dates for social media:
“He tried to do it for her but it was annoying [to him]. He’s not a big poster, very to himself and private.”
Did he ever talk to Megan about this? You know, the mature and adult thing to do? We’ll get to that in a second…
Klay also reportedly felt like he couldn’t “live a normal life” with Megan since she has an entourage or security around her at all times. What’s more? He allegedly had an issue with the paranoia she felt after the shooting incident with Tory Lanez in 2020. The insider claimed Klay once said:
“She would not shut the f**k up about [Lanez]. She always felt like people were out to get her. She needs security everywhere, even in remote places.”
Yeah, it was a traumatic experience for her! Of course, she is going to feel scared and want security with her! She is also a huge star! What do you expect? For her to travel with no protection? That would be way too risky! If Klay cared, he would be a bit more understanding! Jeez!
But a second source insisted that conversations about Tory “rarely” happened, and “if anything, she vented and leaned on her partner for support, as anyone would in a relationship.” Exactly! The insider added that she only discussed bout the situation when she saw “false narratives circulating about her on the internet.”
When asked whether Klay talked about his rumored frustrations about Megan, the first source said he doesn’t like confrontation. So that’s a no. They continued:
“I think anyone who knows him would know that that’s not who he is [to speak up]. He says what he feels but he’s not confrontational.”
Given all this, the first source now questions Klay’s motivations into going into a relationship with Megan – and we bet fans are too! Still, the insider claimed he had been “excited” about the Grammy winner and “definitely liked her at first, but after a while that faded.” They added:
“They could not have been a more opposite couple.”
