Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are over!
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday, the country music artist filed for divorce from his wife of nearly 10 years in Tennessee on May 18! He locked down powerhouse attorney Rose Palermo, who previously represented Kristin Cavallari in her divorce from Jay Cutler, to help him with the petition. Jelly cited the typical “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and claimed they separated on May 9, 2026 — a little over a week before he filed for divorce.

Why Jelly is divorcing Bunnie is unknown at this time, but we want to know! These two were just trying to have babies this year, so what the heck happened?! Sources alleged to TMZ that the breakup was a mutual decision by the now-former couple and a private family matter — and that’s it! That’s all we got for now! However, fans know these two have had a rocky relationship over the years. Jelly met Bunnie in 2015 before he became famous, but they didn’t start a romantic relationship until the following year. They got married on August 30, 2016. And one week before the wedding, the Need a Favor artist welcomed a son with another woman.
Bunnie previously revealed they have broken up and gotten back together multiple times over the years. And during an October 2025 episode of the Human School podcast, Jelly shared that “one of the worst moments of my adulthood” was cheating on the former sex worker. Oof. Bunnie ultimately gave him a second chance and got back together with him. But while promoting her memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic on The Kelly Clarkson Show in February, she made it clear he wouldn’t get a third one if he ever stepped out again! She said:
“I gave it to him, and it is the best decision I’ve ever made. Will he get a third? Absolutely f**king not.”
Hopefully, Jelly didn’t make the same mistake again…
Neither has spoken out about the split yet. Bunnie and Jelly are not wasting their time when it comes to untangling each other from their lives, though! TMZ obtained a photo of a moving truck parked outside their shared home in Tennessee on Monday! It is unknown who is moving out, but neighbors told the outlet that this is the first time they’ve seen movers at the property. See the pictures HERE.
