Frankie Muniz‘s estranged wife Paige Price Muniz is responding to their joint divorce announcement.
ICYMI, on Wednesday, the NASCAR driver and his wife revealed in a dual Instagram post that they’d be going their separate ways after a decade. But the post that most people saw wasn’t the first one that was made. Originally, Frankie posted a video of himself and Paige dancing with their young son, Mauz Mosley. In the caption, it said:
“Who says you can’t stay best friends with your baby momma?”
That post ended up quickly being deleted after backlash, though. Lots of commenters thought it was an inappropriate video given the nature of their announcement. Which, that’s just complete BS! We love to see parents who can make it work for their kids despite divorcing! Some people can just be so miserable…

And Paige agrees! Under the new announcement, which now just features a family photo from a race day, she commented:
“Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old funny video of our family because people are so cruel to you. The world is so f**ked… divorce is bad, sure – it’s not like we’re excited about it… but we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can’t believe people could scrutinize that.”

She also made a post on her Stories that said:
“The internet is a scary place. I wish you all a kinder sea.”

She also shared a post that read:
“Being misread does not alter the architecture of who you are. It only reveals the limits of the observer.”
It’s so good to see them still sticking by each other’s sides. It’s what they, and especially their kid, truly deserve! It’s so sad Frankie got pressured into deleting that initial adorable post.
