Jax Taylor‘s relationship with his longtime publicist, which he shared with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, didn’t have any scandalous origins despite online speculation!
If you haven’t heard, photos emerged of the former Bravoleb getting cozy with Lori Krebs while at the pool during a birthday trip in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, over the weekend. Sources confirmed to People that the pair have been together for a few months — and that Brittany is “very upset” over the situation! The Valley star feels especially betrayed by Lori because she continued to work with her despite rumors of a romance between her and Jax surfacing two years ago! Obvi, Lori got the boot this time! Brittany cut ties with the publicist the second she found out about the relationship!

You can also imagine that the 37-year-old reality star is likely now questioning how long this romance has really been going on! Lori has been in their lives for over a decade, and she was very close to the former couple. Perhaps she got a little too close to Jax before he and Brittany ended things in 2024. This is Jax Taylor we’re talking about here. He hasn’t been the most faithful man to Britt (or any girlfriend he’s had in the past?), so it wouldn’t shock anyone if he allegedly cheated on her with Lori!
However, sources close to Jax and Lori insist to TMZ on Wednesday that they did NOT have a secret affair while he was married to Brittany! The insiders explained that the two grew closer over the past several months while going through their respective divorces and raising children with autism. Those experiences reportedly bonded them, and their friendship soon blossomed into something more. The sources say Lori, who lives a substance-free lifestyle, also supported and helped Jax during his sobriety journey after decades of struggling with cocaine addiction.
Neither Jax nor Lori reportedly expected their relationship to go public at this time, and they wanted to keep it private while they figured things out between them. But as we all know, the cat’s out of the bag now! And from what we heard, they didn’t do much to hide their romance while on vacation! If Jax and Lori really wanted to keep their relationship a secret, they probably shouldn’t have been flaunting it out in the open! Just a thought!
