Tom Brady is weighing in on all the chatter surrounding NFL preseason!
If you haven’t been keeping up, there’s been a lot of opinions flying lately regarding the upcoming NFL season, particularly all the preseason training and rituals. Some people are saying if players don’t get to go on the field in the exhibition games, it can affect their performance due to not getting enough practice. Meanwhile, others are saying if they DO get to go on the field, there’s risks of injuries and issues that can happen and ruin their upcoming season.

Aaron Rodgers, for one, has weighed in and said he doesn’t really care one way or another. He recently told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in an interview the two are incomparable:
“It’s preseason. It’s not real football. If I play, great. If I don’t, great. Preseason’s a lot different. Teams don’t run anything anymore; they just really don’t. It’s good to see guys with pads on, under the lights, how they react to the nerves. But it’s not real, regular-season football.”
But Tom, with his seven Super Bowl rings on his fingers, has a different take! He weighed in on the situation while reposting a video of one of his preseason games to his Instagram Stories on Sunday. He wrote in his caption:
“Preseason… regular season. I never wanted to be taken off the field.”
We could’ve guessed that much! LOLz!
Continuing, he wrote:
“Practice makes perfect… Too many people looking for the easy way out these days. When you’re a football player, and it’s football season, your job is to play football
“
