Awhile back, Rupert Grint had mentioned to Potterheads at a fan event in London that the studio where all the Harry Potter magic happened, Leavesden Studios, was going to turn into a shrine to the movie franchise. Now, we have more details about the project and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to disappoint!
Sources are confirming that the studio has plans to expand their property, so that they can adequately house the props and sets from the eight Harry Potter movies and put them on display for fans to see. The expansion will allow the studio to still do filming for other projects, but also provide the unique experience of touring some of Harry Potter’s more well-known locales.
In fact, the project is going to be so massive that Warner Bros. is stepping in to help the project, which should be available for the public starting mid-2012.
Pretty exciting! Now, there’ll be a Harry Potter attraction on two continents – that in London and the Wizard World theme park in Orlando, FL.
Which would U rather venture off to?
