Zefron In Talks To Star in Akira Remake

Oh geez. This may be the only thing worse for him than that facial hair!

Zac Efron is entertaining offers to star as gang leader Shotaro Kaneda in the film based on the manga comic Akira.

The comic follows Kaneda, a member of a teen biker gang in post-nuclear war in 2019, who is eventually responsible for stopping the destruction of the city.

Hmmm. The project sounds inneresting, but we’re not sure if it’s the best fit for Zac.

We’ll love him either way.
