We were so happy and honored to attend the LA Gay & Lesbian Center‘s annual gala this past weekend and support the good and much-needed work the non-profit does for our community.
It was an evening of celebration and also inspiration, as we left so touched by the stories we heard and the desire for us to do more!
The incomparable Jane Lynch, who is a member of The Center’s board of directors was honored and gave an equal parts moving and uproariously hilarious speech. We got to chat with her and her lovely wife and walked away wanting a wife of our own! Or at least a Jane Lynch on weekends!
Glee star Matthew Morrison and series creator Ryan Murphy were also in attendance, as was Vampire Diaries star and singer Kat Graham, every gay man’s favorite red head, Kathy Griffin, and the evening’s host, the legendary Lily Tomlin.
Being gay is awesome! Being part of the gay community is awesome! It really does get better!
