Ummm, does Maren Morris have an update for fans about her love life?
On Tuesday, Cassadee Pope — who you may recognize as a winner of The Voice, lead singer of Hey Monday, or her solo work in country music — posted a picture with Maren to Instagram Stories. In it, the pair are sharing a steamy kiss! Yes, you read that right! They locked lips! And Cassadee captioned the post:
“She won’t go out with you because she’s out with me, silly @marenmorris.”

Both artists also shared pictures to the ‘gram of their arms wrapped around each other! And Cassadee commented on one photo that she’s “trying to get bb to move here, everyone help.” Take a look at the images (below):
It’s unclear if this is really a hard launch. Fans know that Maren and Cassadee go way back. They’ve been friends for years, and Cassadee even served as an opener for Maren’s Girl: The World Tour. They also joined forces and clapped back at Jason Aldean‘s wife, Brittany Aldean, after her super transphobic remarks in 2022. Remember that very public feud?
And as you know, Maren came out as bisexual in June 2024 following her divorce from Ryan Hurd. Although Cassadee hasn’t publicly addressed her sexuality, she has been a huge advocate for the LGBTQ+ community over the years. She even got ordained and announced she can perform ceremonies for same-sex couples after Tennessee “passed a bill that allows public officials to not marry couples at their discretion.”
Now, Cassadee and Maren may be a couple! Neither has addressed the speculation, but we now ship them together!
