Oh, Katie!
Whining to the press isn’t going to help improve your image! Not smart!
Recently eliminated X Factor contestant Katie Waissel is now speaking out about her time on the reality competition, and now claims that her mentor on the show, Cheryl Cole, put “her own problems” before the talent!
She claims:
“Cheryl and I didn├óΓé¼Γäót have long chats ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ she would just advise me not to read the papers and say she had had a hard time too. I don├óΓé¼Γäót have her mobile number so I don├óΓé¼Γäót know if we will keep in touch. Louis was my absolute favourite. He gave me his mobile number and I├óΓé¼Γäóll definitely keep in touch. He understood how awful it was for me to be painted in a way I could do nothing about. Of course I read the papers. I would cry my eyes out. But the hardest thing was performing with the audience booing. There was nowhere I could drop my guard. Matt Cardle thought I had sold a story about him. I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót convince him otherwise. After that, he lashed out at me in the press, which really hurt. Aiden (Grimshaw) was his best friend and laid into me too. I was an easy target. To be honest, it├óΓé¼Γäós been horrendous. I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót prepared for it, I just didn├óΓé¼Γäót know what to do. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not a celebrity, I├óΓé¼Γäóm just someone who wants to sing.”
Sorry to have to be harsh, but if you wanted to just sing, bb, you shouldn’t have signed up for a reality show!
Drama followed you the entire time you were competing, so excuse us if we don’t buy the whole ‘poor me’ attitude!
We don’t think it’s particularly fair of you to lash out at Chezza and the other contestants as though it’s their fault you didn’t move forward into the finals!
Ugh! Such sour grapes!
Thoughts??
