Paramount Pictures has announced the worldwide release date for the Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest comedy The Dictator.
What’s that? Oh, we hear some of you saying, “The Dictator? What’s that about?”
You’re in luck – we have the logline! Here’s the plot of Sacha’s latest:
“The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel, Zabibah and The King, by Saddam Hussein.”
Just from that sentence alone we know there are going to be protests. Sacha is nothing if not consistent! Pushing the envelope is his thing!
Such a long wait, though. Can they hurry this up a bit so we can enjoy the depravity, please?
