Rutgers To Try New Gender Neutral Housing Program!

Rutgers To Try New Gender Neutral Housing Program!

Might not be an accurate picture
This is pretty fab!
Rutgers University New Brunswick campus is going to try a gender neutral housing program for three dorms to help spread equality!
We’re sure some people will have a problem with this, but the reasoning is so pure!
Here’s what it’s about:

Starting this fall, gay, lesbian and transgender students at Rutgers University’s New Brunswick campus can choose either male or female roommates under the pilot program.
Heterosexual students will also be permitted to live in rooms with students of the opposite sex. Men and women will share bathrooms.

So great! This is DEF a way to make people feel more comfortable and welcomed!
And hey, if people have a problem with it they can go live in the usual type of housing elsewhere on campus! The new initiative isn’t replacing all standard housing.
We’re curious to see how this works! We bet it’ll be great!
We wish you the best Rutgers, and your students!! We’re so excited for you guys!
Thoughts??
