It hasn’t been that long since Courteney Cox and David Arquette officially separated, but in this coming issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Court reveals that she has started giving dating a thought or two.
And then she stopped thinking about it all together and decided that she really isn’t ready for a new relationship. She explains in her interview:
“I have no desire right now. I’m not saying never; it just seems weird. I don’t even know how that would happen or how you meet people. I don’t like to go out. I’m not great at small talk ├óΓé¼┬ª I don’t like to go to parties. There’s a sign on my forehead: exiting social life, entering into isolation.”
No! Don’t do that! You’ve got a whole lot of living to do!
Then again, wouldn’t it be great to see a single Court and a single Jennifer Aniston taking over the L.A. scene? We’re thinking yes!!!
But what about her and David? Is there really no hope for them. Maybe yes…maybe no. When asked what the future holds for her and her husband of 11 years, Courteney revealed:
“I guess because I [still] have strong feelings for [David] … I’m his biggest protector. I can’t help it…Most guys aren’t mature, are they? ├óΓé¼┬ª If you know who David is, you know what his intentions are, how honest he is, and how big his heart is ├óΓé¼┬ª You can’t really get mad at David because he’s not a malicious person.”
We believe that. We also believe that people make mistakes and grow apart, but sometimes, when the love is strong enough, they find a way back to each other.
Maybe that’s what is in store for the two of you. Until then…
