Sure, blame the lady who is just doing her job. That sounds about right to us.
Rosie O’Donnell decided to stir an old pot on her radio show by taking aim at Good Morning America reporter Robin Roberts for Chris Brown’s tantrum a few weeks ago. (Behind on your DVR, are you Ro?)
Instead of insisting that Chris take responsibility for his own actions, such as okaying Robin’s line of questioning before he went on air, Rosie put the blame on Robin for drudging up the Rihanna issue. She said:
“I don’t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anybody else. I felt mildly angry at Robin Roberts. I felt like writing her and going: ‘Can you take a look at this again and see if maybe you find — in any way — your responsibility in this?'”
We’ve rewound the tape…and we see NONE! Nothing she did or asked warranted that kind of behavior from him. He had every right during and before his interview to request that the topic not be discussed, but he didn’t and then he regretted it and then he smashed a chair into a window. We fail to see where any of that was Robin’s fault.
