Some Pi For Tobey Maguire

He’s officially handed off his spidey-senses to a new generation, but Toby Maguire is getting back into the movie game with a new, more dramatic picture.

Tobey has been cast in the film adaptation of the Ang Lee novel-to-film adaptation of Life of Pi for Fox. He’ll play the reporter who interviews the story’s main character as a man as he recalls his extreme childhood experience of surviving a shipwreck on a lifeboat with a zebra, an orangutan, a hyena and a tiger.

Doesn’t sound like Tobey got the best role in the flick, but hey, what can you do?

We’re thinking that this flick along with his role in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby for Warner Bros. could get Tobey back in the A-list game.

U agree?
