It’s been officially announced that the 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air LIVE from Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 28. For the second year in a row, LA’s Nokia Live Theater will play host to the festivities as Stephen Friedman, president of MTV, explains:
“The city is the perfect backdrop for all the musical moments, mayhem and magic that make the VMAs such a notorious celebration.”
Ah yes, the mayhem. What kind of chaos will ensue this year? Who will bombard the stage with their own agenda? Who will be too wasted to accept their Moon Man? Who will drop half-naked onto Eminem’s head?
We soon shall see!
Any thoughts on who might get nominated this year? What was UR fave music video of 2011?
