A GREAT Week In Music!

This past chart week posted some pretty incredible numbers in album sales. Overall, 6.48 million units of music were sold last week, up an impressive 17% from the comparable sales week just a year ago.

The numbers are just as impressive on the digital end of the biz. This past week, 26.69 million was made in sales of downloads, up 22% from last year! As of this week, the yearly track sales are at 413.04 million, up 9% compared to the same total at this point last year (378.57 million)
