Oh man, we would be too! Especially if they had been talking to us about it!
Jessica Simpson was definitely liked for one of the judges spots, but ended up getting snubbed in favor of Abdul or Cole! This hasn’t been sitting to well with her, despite the idea that she has a very successful style line up.
Here’s what she said:
“They have definitely talked to me about X Factor. I think it would be a lot of fun. It’s definitely my life. To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people’s dreams come true.”
Okay, so that doesn’t seem so upset, but perhaps she’s putting on a brave face because this is what someone close to her had to say:
“She was devastated when she didn’t get hired to be a judge on The X Factor. Though she knows she’s lucky her clothing line is so successful [estimated to be worth close to $1 billion], she felt like The X Factor was her last chance in terms of her showbiz career.”
If that’s true, you don’t have to feel that way, Jess! We’re sure something else will come along… in the meantime, focus on your business and how is worth a reported $1 billion dollars!
Regardless, we’re really excited for The X Factor!
