Paula Says Cheryl Getting Fired From X Factor Is News To Her!

What’s going on here?

We know that Paula Abdul can be in her own, um, world, but could she really not know that Cheryl Cole was fired from X Factor? She is sitting next to the woman on the judges panel, afterall!

When asked about what she thought about Cheryl being axed from the show, Paula said:

“This is all news to me. This apparently has captured the news while I was traveling so I’m just finding out things as you are.

I don’t know whether this is true. You probably know more than I do. All I can tell you is that she is lovely, and I was really excited about the relationship and friendship we were forging. Regardless [of what happens], I’m looking forward to continuing that. She’s lovely.”

Hmm. We guess news didn’t spread that fast. Come on, Simon and Fox – it’s time to make a statement already! We need to know the truth!
