While we always appreciate new music from artists a bit earlier than planned, we understand how damaging it can be to an artist’s album projections when their music leaks early. Not that Beyonce has anything to worry about, mind you, but her new album 4 did leak yesterday and being that its a whole month earlier than planned, it’s not the best news for her and her team.
Still, Queen B is taking the news in stride and posted on her Facebook fanpage that she was happy to hear her fans are loving the music, even if it is illegally! She said:
“My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.”
Good attitude! Focus on the positive! The fans are in your corner and no doubt the majority of them will still be in the stores on June 28th snatching up a hard copy.

P.S. We’ve heard it and unfortunately do not like the album AT ALL.
