This morning, after calling off her wedding to Hugh Hefner, Crystal Harris called in to Ryan Seacrest’s morning show to talk about her decision not to marry the Playboy mogul. She revealed to Ryan that she didn’t think it was “the right thing” for her to do and that she’s been having “second thoughts” on getting married to Hef for awhile.
She explains that his “lifestyle,” meaning living and loving so many women in the mansion, isn’t what she wants for herself, but since she loved Hef, she tried to ignore her uneasy feelings. However, she reached a boiling point this week and decide it was time to talk to Hef about her concerns. She reveals that she and Hef sat down and “talked about it.” There was no fighting, no arguing and in the end, the decision to cancel the wedding was “mutual.” She explained further:
“We both agreed that it’s not in the cards for us. We had a long talk about it. I feel happy and at peace that everything will be ok, and I respect him more than anything, and we’re still going to be really close.”
Shockingly, you’ll be able to watch this private moment unfold since Crystal adds that E! will be airing a show on it. When asked how Hef is holding up, she quickly raved he was doing “great,” but downgraded to “OK” as the interview went on. She confirmed that she has moved out of the mansion and that for the time being, she will be concentrating on her music career. She adamantly denied that she was seeing another man, but admitted she had many “friends in the music business” that she likes to spend time with.
Um, okay we’re just going to say it! Is anyone else NOT convinced that this was NOT all just a publicity stunt? That this whole marriage and break up was planned to coincide with her debut album to garner her some attention before its release AND get a new Girl’s Next Door special taped?
This all just seems soooo shady to us! Agreed?
