We love the hot messes that make up the cast now, but we think this is a good idea in the long run. Mainly because the cast now is getting a little stale, and stale does not mean they should be wanting more money for every new season!
So that’s right, they’re going to recast Jersey Shore!
After the 5th season is shot, that means the original cast is dunzo. They’re on the fourth now, so that means we’ve got one final year with the guidos and guidettes that shot into national attention. They’ll then be free to pursue spinoffs, too:
├óΓé¼┼ôAfter this group comes back from Italy and shoots season 5 this summer, that will be the end for them,├óΓé¼┬¥ says an insider. The new stars will be ├óΓé¼┼ôa lot cheaper├óΓé¼┬¥├óΓé¼┬ª plus the current gang can feel free to pursue spinoffs. Says the source, ├óΓé¼┼ôThey will leave on a high note!”
We’re sure that it won’t quite be the same without them, but we’re not completely worried about it. Just look at shows like the Real World, which have been successful despite brand new casts every season.
So we’ll be grown-ups and just say what everyone is thinking: they are replaceable, and they asked for too much money. And now they’re getting the boot.
Easy as that!
Probably won’t be the last we see of them, though!
