Awesome!
A federal appeals court has put an immediate stop to enforcing the U.S. military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell ban on gay service members!!
A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco said Wednesday the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy must be immediately lifted now that the Obama administration says it’s unconstitutional to treat gay Americans differently under the law.
Woo! That’s fantastic news!
There was no real specific timeline to this, so this news is a welcome surprise today! We’re so happy that the military is becoming more and more ready to let those in the LBGT community serve and protect the country!
EQUALITY FOR ALL!!
