Maybe IHOP can sponsor this movie. LOLz!
We weren’t crazy about director Joe Johnston’s Jurassic Park flick and neither was anyone else, but we’re pret-ty pumped for Captain America, so maybe Joe COULD be right for a Boba Fett movie…with plenty of guidance from George Lucas, of course.
During a recent interview, Johnston opened up about his desire to make a movie centered on the much-loved Star Wars character Boba Fett. Here’s what he had to say about it:
“…I├óΓé¼Γäóm trying to get George to make a feature based on Boba Fett.”
And here’s what Johnston said when asked if he’d like to direct it:
“I would like to, it would be a lot of fun.”
Given the fact that Joe started out his career as a storyboard artist for Lucas, and then went on to become a designer and visual effects art director on the original Star Wars trilogy, we’re thinking that George MIGHT take his Boba Fett movie idea seriously.
We’ll keep a close eye out for more Boba news, but we won’t be shocked if George decides to go for this. Why shouldn’t he? Who couldn’t use an extra several million dollars???
What do U think about this idea? Would U like to see a Boba Fett movie? Is director Joe Johnston right for the project?
